Devoted to Olympic weightlifting (snatch and clean & jerk), powerlifting (back squat, bench press and deadlift), and technique - all things done during our training are to achieve the best overall results in these lifts.
Coalition Barbell Club is a USAW Club Affiliate for those athletes looking for a dedicated Oly program. Dedicated club sessions focus primarily on practicing and improving technical execution of Olympic-style, power and auxiliary lifts in front of a coach. Programming is based on 12-week periodization with additional accessory work added. For lifters who wish to have personalized programming or need modifications tailored, more details can be found here.
For those needing the specialty equipment & space to perform their own (or a personal coach's) weightlifting programming, we do offer Bring Your Own Programming (BYOP). We provide the space. You provide the program.
I grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Participated in a variety of sports growing up, but found my true passion in strength training and conditioning needed to enhance sports performance. I have over 10 years of experience working with general population clients, weightlifters and athletes - from amateur all the way up to the collegiate & Olympic level. I've also worked as a lecturer at University of Wisconsin - La Crosse for 5 years, teaching the fundamentals of strength & conditioning.
